MX Competition Last – Featuring a larger toe box & tighter heel than the Comfort last and with slightly more overall volume than the Sport last. 

The upper is segmented into 6 independent zones for the most flexible fit to accommodate narrow or wide feet as well as high instep and low instep feet.

Excellent Fit

I had a hot spot in another pair of cycling shoes I ordered. I contacted Lake Cycling Canada and sent them my foot measurements. I got a response immediately and ordered their recommendation, the MX242. They were extremely comfortable and sold my hot spot on the bunion. The wide fits and options on adjustments and heat molding are fantastic. I will be considering a road shoe in the Spring.

Finally after over 30 years of painful ill fitting riding shoes … and I’ve tried a lot, a shoe that fits like it should. I have normal widish feet ( no growths or anything abnormal except my big toes are big toes) these shoes have height in the toe not just width so no more squished toes. If your toes don’t have sufficient room unless you size up 2 sizes and feel like you are riding with flippers on then these shoes will solve this problem, they are so comfortable I can’t recommend them enough. Also the fit is true to Lake sizing chart for my feet. If there were 10 stars I would give it 10 … the money was definitely well spent.
