They didn't have a 45 in black so.....
Originally ordered a 44 (supposedly equivalent to an 11 US). Not quite enough toe room. So i accepted the offer of a yellow 45 to replace. All is good now. shoe is wide enough to accommodate a big bone spur i have on my right foot. Boa system works well, hopefully holds up. Just did 1st ride with the shoes and the SPD cleat on the right foot was a more difficult exit than on my other pr of shoes. I imagine that should loosen up a bit with a few more rides. BEWARE: shoe sole is slippery on a wet surface! Hopefully that calms down over time as well :)
