Exceptionally secure for hard riding/racing with enough room in the toe box to prevent binding when running up inclines or negotiating a hike-a-bike section.  Designed for performance riding & racing.

UPPER

Fullgrain Water Resistant Premium Leather with mesh upper, Aramid and Helcor Abrasion resistant leather panels with Outlast and hook lycra heel lining. The Helcor Abrasion resistant leather is specifically designed to be extremely durable against rubbing, scrapes and scuffing. Hook lycra heel liner offers a firm grip to your foot for those walking sections.

MX238 Wide

This is my 2nd pair of Lake shoes. The wide fit has been a blessing. I used to wear a larger size in other brands just to get the right width. As long as they continue offering their extensive range of sizes, they will be my first choice in shoes. The MX238's are a big step up from my last shoe. 2 Boa dials make for a more confident, easily adjustable fit. It's the middle of March so I haven't been able to ride much yet, but the shoe is comfortable, stiff and looks good. Thanks to Garrett for making sure I chose the right size!
