CUSTOMIZED SHOE OPTIONS
Lake Cycling offers customized options by special-order for many stock shoe models.
Customization opportunities include:
1. Customized arrangement of stock colours for shoe panels, logos, and closures.
2. Fully customized artwork and graphics beyond stock options.
3. Split sizing, for asymmetric feet.
(Note: conditions, prices, availability, lead-times, etc., may change at any time.)

1. Customization with Stock Material Colours
Customization Options Available include:
> Stock Upper Panel Materials, including: Kangaroo or Bovine natural leathers, Clarino microfibre synthetic Leather
> Stock Colours: Upper panels, Logos, Bumpers, etc.
> Stock BOA Closures: Dials and Laces
> Speedplay-specific 4-bolt soles

2. Customization with Artwork & Applied Graphics
In addition to the same custom stock material colour options in Option 1, full custom artwork/graphics are available. These graphics are applied with high quality inks for vivid colours, crisp lines, and lasting durability.

3. Customization of Sizing (Left/Right) Pairs
Split left/right shoe sizes may be suitable for customers with significantly asymmetric feet, including differences in length and/or width.
Note: For minor asymmetry (i.e. within 1 EU size difference) we will usually suggest symmetric stock shoes. By sizing to the larger volume foot and then for the smaller foot, the minor difference can usually be taken up by asymmetric adjustments to insoles/footbeds.

1. Customization with Stock Material Colours
Create Your Custom Shoe Configuration
Configure your customized shoe design on the Lake Custom Color Builder page.
Note: This configuration tool is managed by the Lake Cycling International website (lakecycling.com) and NOT the Lake Cycling Canada website.
Save Your Custom Shoe Configuration
At the Checkout page, enter your additional details and the click the [SAVE FOR LATER] button to generate a PDF file with your design. You will be offered the option to download the file. As well, the file will be sent from <custom@lakecycling.com> to your email.
Pricing for Custom Stock Colours and/or Materials
An upcharge of +$100 USD per pair will be added to the stock shoe full price.
> No promotions, discounts, or coupons may be used on custom shoes. Any free shipping incentives are not valid.
> Shipping will be calculated separately when the order is ready to ship.
Purchase Options for Customers in Canada
via Lake Cycling International:
> Customers in Canada purchasing from Lake Cycling International will thereafter deal only with Lake Cycling International, NOT Lake Canada, for all matters relating to the order including: followup, billing, shipping, tracking, warranty, and repair.
> The order costs will be calculated in USD. There is a CAD option which offers an approximate conversion rate at the daily conversion rate. Note that the exchange rate on your credit card will be determined by your credit card or bank and is typically +2.5% higher than the rate displayed on the webstore.
> Customers in Canada purchasing from Lake Cycling International will be acting as their own importer, so will be responsible for 3rd party import fees, including customs brokerage, customs duties/tariffs, and sales tax on the imported products and import fees.
> On the Custom Color Builder checkout page, click the [BUY NOW] to be directed to the product purchase page for the Lake Cycling International (.com) webstore, or click the link in the email with your design PDF
via Lake Cycling Canada:
> Forward the email from <custom@lakecycling.com> to info@lakecycling.ca and we will contact Lake International to let them know that the custom order will be processed by Lake Canada.

2. Customization with Artwork & Applied Graphics
Product Configuration:
Contact us directly by email to start the quotation process.
Prepare all your artwork elements for submission:
> Graphics or logos (including fonts) must be submitted in common vector outline format files, such as .PDF, .EPS, .AI
> Colours must specify a Pantone Coated colour code. Limit of 5 colours.
> Standard material colours are limited to those offered by Lake, as in Option 1.
Design Review:
After you submit your artwork elements then Lake will prepare the on-shoe design(s) and quotation for review.
Pricing for Custom Artwork & Graphics
A minimum upcharge of +$200 USD per pair will be added to the stock shoe full price.
> The final price may be greater based on the details and complexity of the artwork.
> No promotions, discounts, or coupons may be used on custom shoes. Any free shipping incentives are not valid.
> Shipping will be calculated separately when the order is ready to ship.
Purchase
After you confirm the final design, the price will be calculated and a payment link will be sent by Lake.

3.2 - Inventory Splitting
This option involves splitting two pairs of shoes from existing inventory to create a single asymmetric pair. The lead time is much faster as the shoes are not made-to-order.

Price for Inventory Splitting
An upcharge of +55% for split sizing will be added to the stock shoe pair full price (i.e. 155%).

> Shipping will be calculated separately when the order is ready to ship.
Alternative process - Order 2 pairs, return 2 shoes
Two full pairs may be ordered in different sizes (e.g. to check the fit) and then two single shoes may be returned to Lake Canada together after confirmation.
The full price will be charged for both pairs. After the return is processed, then the total price will be revised to 155% of the stock pair full price and a refund will be issued for the difference. Not eligible for free return shipping.
Lead Time
After payment, the order fulfillment is the same as stock shoes.
